Norman Angel Agong
Norman Angel Agong is a researcher, digital rights activist and an IT specialist. He is detailed oriented professional adept at conducting digital research preparing summary depositions, settlement proposals and statements. Norman offers a dedicated experience in Digital policy, implementing ICT grassroots projects, cyber security management, research in emerging technologies, digital marketing, creating and writing blog post, developing social media and web content.
Being an emerging digital thought leader, Norman conducts specialized digital projects and guides multiple discussions shaping the digital economy. Norman has featured in internet and digital rights conferences discussing digital policies including 13th United Nations Internet Governance Forum, Africa Internet Summit (AIS 19), Africa Geospatial Data and Internet Conference, Africa Network Information Center (AFRINIC 31 Policy Forum).
Currently, Norman is a Global Village for Future Leaders Fellow Pennsylvania, USA and he is an alumni of several other fellowship programs including; Young Africa Leadership Initiative (YALI) Fellow 2020 Nairobi Kenya, Youth Internet Governance Fellow 2018 in Paris France, Mozilla Open Leaders X (Community Leader for Interent Health and Accessibel Online Security) Fellow 2020.
Norman Angel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Uganda.
